Amanda Ross - Foot Health Specialist
Qualifying over 20 years ago from The SMAE Institute, Amanda began working at the Dronfield Health & Physiotherapy Clinic nine years ago to compliment her visiting practice.
Amanda carries out all routine foot care, including nail cutting, corn and hard skin removal and the treatment of ingrowing toe nails.
Liza Dunkley - Podiatrist
Liza has worked in the Podiatry field for 27 years, graduating in 1999 with a first-class honours degree at the University of Salford and later was awarded a Masters degree. Liza’s special interests are musculoskeletal podiatry, biomechanical gait analysis and foot orthotic prescription and she has a wide variety of skills in manual therapy and acupuncture for treating foot pain and dysfunction.
Liza’s career has been varied and she has worked at Clinical Specialist level in the NHS, within the private sector in clinical practice, as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Huddersfield and co-created a private podiatry clinic in Sheffield. She has worked with a range of different patient groups of all ages, managing foot complaints in children, adults, elderly patients.
During her roles she gained extensive experience in all areas of general podiatry including high risk footcare, long term conditions, sports injuries / orthopaedics, musculoskeletal podiatry and orthotic provision.
Liza has a holistic integrated approach to achieving optimum foot health and foot function. Her aim is to make you as comfortable as possible, helping you walk with ease, by providing an individualised evidence -based approach to the management of your foot problems.
Many of Liza's previous patients have commented that they enjoy having their feet treated, find treatment to be a relaxing experience and love how comfortable they feel afterwards. Liza reassures and explains treatment approaches, is skilled in general core podiatry /chiropody and diabetic foot assessments providing gentle friendly care for relief of discomfort for most skin and nail disorders.
